AQUATIC COMPLEX
An indoor swimming pool in the school opens the door for sports opportunities and aquatic activities. The school has a child friendly and modern pool in the campus with all the facilities.
CHAPEL & GROTTO
Prayer plays a central role in the educative system of Don Bosco. Thus the Don Bosco Chapel and the Grotto of our Blessed Mother, is a source of strength and protection for all who come into our campus. The prayerful atmosphere of the church is indeed very inspiring: so much so children flock to the church in the morning hours and whenever they are free.
Grotto of Our Lady, located at the entrance of the school, is a favourite place for quick prayer for faculty, students and the public. The soul of the Don Bosco School lies in the chapel. The chapel, which is old as the school, is a place for meditation and prayer for all.
CHILDREN’S PARK
Exciting, engaging and challenging playground equipment is important to keep children happy while still developing their learning abilities. The school has a specious and well equipped children’s park with many slides, swings, double bar, see-saw, merry-go-round, Zig- Zag balancing, Jungle-jim, giraff ladder, etc.
COMPUTER LAB
To enhance the scientific and technological research and invention capacity of students a computer laboratory is essential.The school provides a well-equipped computer lab with the latest hardware and software configurations that would enhance the knowledge of students in information and technology.
DIGITAL CLASS ROOMS
Digital classrooms have been creating a revolution in the school education sector. Embedded with modern-day technologies, such interactive classrooms offer a friendly environment to the students in problem-based learning tasks. We have digitalized all the classrooms in the school with the latest technology.
GYMNASIUM
To boost the energy levels and keep up the stamina for the players the school has a well-equipped gymnasium centre. Daily workouts are done by the players to improve their cardiovascular system. It also strengthens their muscles, maintains their body weight, and boosts their mental health.
INDOOR STADIUM
Don Bosco indoor stadium is a massive, all weather and multipurpose facility with a seating capacity of 2000, where a variety of literary, cultural and indoor sports events like basketball, table tennis, shuttle badminton are conducted. Many interschool competitions hosted by the school are also staged at this venue.
LIBRARY
The school library develops in students the habit of reading for intellectual, aesthetic, cultural, and emotional growth. It is well stocked with more than fifteen thousand books and over a hundred periodicals. It is very heartening to realize that practically all the students make use of the library. The library is made use of most during the library periods and lunch interval – Borrowing of library books is possible using the student’s identity card.
MITHRA – STUDENT CARE CENTRE
To provide personalized care and support for students we have a professional and experienced counsellor in the school. Along with individual counselling for students the centre also provides parental guidance, workshops, motivational classes and group counselling.
PLAYGROUNDS
Play is the key to physical, mental, intellectual and social wellbeing of children. It has a tremendous influence on the developmental aspect of children’s lives holistically and with multifaceted ways. Don Bosco is blessed with huge playgrounds for football, cricket, basketball, handball, netball and throwball.
PURIFIED WATER SUPPLY
The children need healthy water when they head out to school and play. The school has high quality water filtration and purification systems with dedicated water channels to supply water to all the floors of the building
Parents to know: If you are very specific to pack drinking water for your children from home, use a safe, non-toxic, and reusable container. Either use silicon sleeved glass bottle or steel bottles.
SCIENCE LAB
To enhance the learning experiences of students the school has state-of-the-art laboratories for physics, chemistry, botany and zoology. They are well equipped with the most modern technology for experimentation and critical thinking.
TRANSPORT
Our school owns its own fleet of buses. They have been specifically designed and equipped to meet the safety and standards set out by the motor vehicle authority of Kerala. They are prompt, efficient, and reliable.
