General Rules

  1. The medium of instruction in the school is English and as such every pupil must make a serious effort to speak English in the school campus.
  2. Students must be punctual for class; those who have been absent or who come late will be admitted to the class only with the permission of the Principal or one who takes his place.
  3. Students should at all times show respect to the school authorities and the staff. They should be gentle and polite to their companions.
  4. Students are expected to take part in all the co-curricular activities of the school as part of their civic and cultural training and no one will be exempted from them without serious reason.
  5. Students are not allowed to interview parents or visitors or to leave the school premises during school hours without the permission of the Principal.
  6. Money should not be lent or borrowed or articles exchanged without permission from Principal.
  7. It is forbidden to write or scribble on the walls or desks or throw paper in the class room or in any way damage the property. Damages caused must be paid for at the discretion of the Principal.
  8. Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, neglect of homework, disobedience and disrespect towards members of the staff or bad moral influence justify dismissal. Pupils are responsible to the school authorities for their conduct both in and outside school.
  9. Any reported or observed objectionable conduct in or out of the school on the part of the pupils shall make them liable to disciplinary action. On their way to and from school they are expected to behave properly.
  10. Students are strictly forbidden to introduce any sort of comics, objectionable literature into the school or to purchase any article of good from unauthorized dealers from the school premises.
  11. Students are strictly forbidden to bring mobile phones, cameras, compact discs, any electronic devices or any objectionable literature into the school campus.
  12. The consumption and trafficking of narcotic drugs, tobacco, alcohol etc. are strictly prohibited in the campus. Serious disciplinary action will be taken against those who do so.
  13. Pupils and parents are strictly forbidden to make presents to the teachers without the permission of the Principal.
  14. A written letter signed by the parent/guardian of the pupil is needed to send the pupil along with other persons during school hours.
  15. No pupil will be admitted to the class without the school diary & Identity card.
  16. Pupils themselves are responsible for their books, pens, cycles, tiffin carriers or any other article they may bring to School.
  17. Pupils who have not paid the fees will not be permitted to write the examinations.
  18. Pupils absenting themselves from examination without grave reasons will be considered as having failed. Pupils absent from any examination, for any reason whatsoever, will not be re-examined. Serious action including suspension and dismissal will be taken against pupils who resort to unfair means in the examinations. Any tampering with marks or signature of the parents or guardians will be considered a grave offence. 
  19. The school reserves to itself the right to ask the parents to withdraw their children if their progress in studies is unsatisfactory or their attendance is irregular, or their conduct is harmful to other students. 
  20. The School accepts no responsibility, if, through failure in wearing school uniform or in bringing books to class or signature of parents to remarks written by teachers or in the absence record in the calendar, the pupil is obliged to return home during class hours. 
  21. Pupils are strictly forbidden to take part in strikes, political or other demonstrations likely to result in violence or communal disturbances. Those who take part in such things will be dismissed. 
  22. In the absence of any teacher, the class leader, and in his absence the assistant class leader will look after the order and discipline of the class. All the pupils of the class will co-operate with the class leader in maintaining discipline. 
  23. All correspondence addressed to the pupils at school will be subject to inspection. 
  24. Pupils joining or leaving the school during the year will have to pay the fees for the whole year. 
  25. Students should look upon their superiors and teachers as father/mothers. Respect every teacher whether of your own class or not. Be grateful towards those who taught you in the past. Pupils must stand up smartly and greet teachers who enter the class room. They must also stand and thank the teachers when they leave the class room. During the absence of teachers in the class, students must obey the leaders appointed to maintain order.
  26. As a policy, the school forbids all private tuitions, as a pupil should be able to progress in his/her work as a result of good teaching. When absolutely necessary, tuitions may be allowed with due permission.
  27. Every student is expected to subscribe towards small school show, good literature and local charities if requested by the Principal. However no collections or fines or funds are to be made in the school without a written permission or notice from the Principal.
  28. Students should look upon their schoolmates as brother/sister. Never make fun of those who are backward in their studies. Let there be no ridiculing of anyone on account of any physical defect.
  29. We take all possible care for the safety of the children. In spite of all the diligent care we take, if any accident happens either at the school premises or in the school bus, the school will not be responsible for it.
  30. Violation of the regulations or conduct not in keeping with the moral tone of the school will result in the dismissal of the pupil concerned.
  31. No school business will be transacted on Sundays second Saturdays and Public holidays.
  32. The decision of the Principal on all matters is final and binding.

We hope and pray God that the children entrusted to our care will conduct themselves to the satisfaction of all concerned and go out of the school after a successful school career as God-fearing boys and girls useful to themselves, to their parents and to their country.
