The official language of the School is English and therefore every pupil must speak English in the School Campus.
Pupils must be punctual for class. Those who have been absent on the previous day must bring the leave notification (in the diary) signed by their parents and submitted to the Principal or the one who takes his place.
Pupils themselves are responsible for their books, pens, cycles, tiffin carriers or other articles they bring to school.
Pupils are encouraged not to bring gold ornaments to the school. The school takes no responsibility for the loss of any ornaments. Avoid the use of outlandish styles in ornaments and dress.
Pupils are expected to take part in all the co-curricular activities of the school (e.g. Excursions, Social Work, Club activities etc.) as part of their civic and cultural training and no one will be excused from them.
Physical exercises are also part of the School programme and no pupil will be exempted from them without serious reasons.
Pupils are not allowed to meet parents or visitors, without the permission of the Principal, during the school hours.
Pupils are not allowed to leave the School campus without the permission of the Principal, during the school hours.
It is strictly forbidden to write or scribble on the walls, on desks and benches, throw papers around or splash ink in the class room or in any way damage school property. Any damage or breakage must be reported to the Principal and it must be paid for according to the discretion of the School authorities.
Any reported or observed objectionable conduct in or out of the school on the part of pupils shall make them liable to disciplinary action. On their way to and from school they are expected to behave in a gentlemanly manner.
Students are strictly forbidden to introduce any sort of comics or objectionable literature or CD, I-pod, Pendrives, Camera, Mobile Phones etc. into the school campus. Students involved in such activities run the risk of being dismissed from the school.
Pupils must ensure that the school fee is paid regularly on time, failing which, fine will be imposed.
Pupils absenting themselves from examinations without grave reasons will be considered as having failed. Pupils absent from any examination, for any reason whatsoever, will not be re-examined. Serious action including suspension and dismissal will be taken against pupils who resort to unfair means in the examinations.
Any tampering with marks or signature of the parents or guardians will be considered as a grave offence.
Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, neglect of homework, disobedience and disrespect towards teachers and members of the staff and bad moral influence justify dismissal. Pupils are responsible to the school authorities for their conduct both inside and outside the school.
The school reserves to itself the right to ask the parents to withdraw their children, if their progress in studies is unsatisfactory or their attendance is irregular, or their conduct is harmful to other students. No pupil who fails for two years consecutively will be kept in the School.
The School accepts no responsibility, if through failure in wearing school uniform or in bringing books to class or forging signature of parents to remarks written by teachers or in the Absence Record in the calendar, the pupil is asked to return home during class hours. Even regular late comers may be sent home.
Students should present on the reopening day and during the last week of every term. Incase the student is absent, the parent has to meet the Principal in person and give reason for such absence.
Attendance at official School functions, such as the School Day, Athletic Meet... is compulsory.
Pupils are strictly forbidden to take part in strikes, political or other organizations likely to result in violence or communal disturbances. Those who take part in such activities will be dismissed.
In the absence of any teacher, the class leader and in his absence the assistant class leader will look after the order and discipline of the class. All the pupils of the class will co-operate with the class leader in maintaining discipline.
All correspondence addressed to the pupils at school will be subject to inspection.
Parents and pupils are not allowed to give gifts to the teachers without the permission of the Principal.
No School business will be transacted during the holidays and out side office hours.
Pupils joining or leaving the school during the year will have to pay the fees of the whole year.
Pupils are welcome to make use of the school bus facilities.
